Morts
Morts thumbnail
Morts Progressive hard rock by this Canadian band featuring vocals that kinda threw me at first - it wasn't what I'd expected and in a way a little off-putting. But then, there was a time that I couldn't stand the vocals of fellow Canadians Geddy Lee and Neil Young, though I've been a die-hard fan of both for years now. Not that Mirrelia is really in the same class as Rush or Neil Young, but I must say that they do get better the more I hear them! Reminds me of Hawthorne Heights... Favorite track: Brassdame.

Brassdame 05:31
Portraits and images are all that I need Just to blindfold what you foresee Your eyes burn straight in to me lovelessly I'll be ugly as you want me to be Let it go, After page one it ends A storyless, In pockets it bends So help me plant the last seed that will ever grow Dream on. the last child that will ever know Endlessly, gazing to each other's eyes So easily, we're falling for each other's lies How could I believe that a touch could revive me? Lost inside a memory tree A silence that holds to meaningless dreams As I shake your hands unwillingy Your pages are torn, your ink is dry The sweetest is bitter, the light's too bright When your rusty hands can turn no more Then, I'll think of you and I'll write Carefully I'm turning a chapter away I can breath, it's not over yet I'm wasting away, with a pageless book I can forgive but I can't forget So ask yourself, Are you blissfully blind? Just ask yourself, I've made up my mind So help me plant the last seed that will ever grow Dream on. the last child that will ever know Endlessly, gazing to each other's eyes So easily, we're falling for each other's lies How could I believe that a touch could revive me? Lost inside a memory tree A silence that holds to meaningless dreams As I shake your hands unwillingy Your pages are torn, your ink is dry The sweetest is bitter, the light's too bright When your rusty hands can turn no more Then, I'll think of you and I'll write Let it dissolve in rainy days The memory tree with terminal roots From day one I quit and gave in to looks Now I write I'll write a new plot, one I can't regret A peaceful beginning, a sincere sunset I'll hold on to dreams I could never receive And live in a world learning to believe My pages are new, regrets undone And someone will live this after I'm gone Until the end, I will write

East of Eden 03:56
Winter comes knocking to me With manners hid in it's sleeve My lies come frozen in breeze I answer the call, a language I use on cue "I don't believe in you" Eyes peeking in paranoia I opened to see inside Eye to eye, too close behind Three seconds in to my... Lies, your hand in mine Lies, my hostile sign Kind, my peaceful breath Bye bye, my lies Off to somewhere out of here I found perfection in silent hills Destroy me, our end is near I found our 'Eden' in quiet hells Cold touch from fingers I know I'll beg you to give them to me If you'll believe in me All deserts abandoned life The world that you'll wet in tears The beautiful paradise We've all been a part of your... Lies, your hand in mine Lies, my hostile sign Kind, my peaceful breath Bye bye my lies Off to somewhere out of here I found perfection in silent hills Destroy me our end is near I found our 'Eden' in quiet hells To my families, to my hopefulness Your hand grants my loneliness When you came to me, allowing me to see My worth is useless Your lies My life in your sake, To see what I can take My life is done East of Eden come

Mirrored 04:27
Things quietly fell, until no one could say "I wish it would stay this way" I faced all I saw with a mirror in hand Until night turned to day Cause' I have all I need to find A point of view that leads me to my end An end that I held, preserving a view, a sign A picture I drew in my mind In silence it reached and begged me to act React, until end of time Somewhere a lightless design divides What could only be one When eyes are closed and diffrence can glow Impossible will lose its meaning till I'm done A shallowing lake with our last hopes in mind I'll follow it's slipping time I could see through the dark, until it all comes to life I hold and open my eyes Cause' I have all I need to find A point of view that leads me to my end An end that I held, preserving a view, a sign A picture I drew in my mind In silence it reached and begged me to act React, until end of time Somewhere a lightless design divides What could only be one When eyes are closed and diffrence can glow Impossible will lose its meaning till I'm done Until all I can do is done The time, regrets, the signs I've missed Until all my mistakes are gone Till' the end An end that I held, preserving a view, a sign A picture I drew in my mind I silence it reached and begged me to act React, until end of time

Stray 03:21
The weather's gone, we're leaning on a neighbour's watchdog Day by day the leash pulls and it's out of control It's stray, away, the domino affect in place Neighbour to neighbours are left to fall Why is your dependency on me? When mine is looking left and right For something or someone next to me It's blind and leading me with sight "We all follow lines into abyss" Hold on to me, I'll hold on to you for life Lead me to endings, following me to mistakes Again and again in time The fingertips hold of every in and outcomes Bathing in rain and thorns, it kills me slowly Coming out your head; another barrier to break Protection means nothing to me Lines in to abyss Hold on to me, I'll hold on to you for life Lead me to endings, following me to mistakes Again and again in time

He was a winter born inside The future's curtains closed in his disguise His life became pen and paper He's just a stranger to her When will he rewind in her thoughts Mechanical, the child has long been lost Can anyone see him? His laughter and dreams have gone He left himself in his steps Forever the tearless child cries on When she leaves, he won't call her name He's lost the will to stay the same Alone in a cornered dream No one will remember him "Rip apart what I've done to this day" In the end there's nothing left to say Can anyone see him? His laughter and dreams have gone He left himself in his steps Forever the tearless child cries on Is everything too late?

Losing my touch I'm moving limbless from the tips of her... Fingers from such Haunting grace from her lips, shiver on It won't be long Before I prove you wrong Make me believe in you, all but not myself Can you ruin this world by yourself? Wail from inside my hollowing chest Fail from what I've been doing my best Give in to a change, turn in to a glass A moment to silently rest Tears from her womb Shes giving birth to our death Paradox, irony, And my judgement loses strength Within her arms, her emptyness Her guide, her ignorance Make me believe in you, all but not myself Can you ruin this world by yourself? Wail from inside my hollowing chest Fail from what I've been doing my best Give in to a change, turn in to a glass A moment to silently rest I can't conclude dead desires on my behalf I can't say what my value is not, aesthetics lost There was a time when eyes could see And I fought for the things that I got Wail from inside my hollowing chest Fail from what I've been doing my best Give in to a change, turn in to a glass A moment to silently rest My hollowing chest I'm doing my best Sapphire Touch.
